Krish on a lyrical note!

After mesmerising audiences with superhit numbers like June Ponal... from Unnale Unnale and Adiye Kolluthey...from Vaaranam Aayiram, singer Krish is all set to don a new avatar. Yes, the handsome singer is becoming a lyricist.
Krish will pen two songs for an upcoming film Kanden, which will have music by Vijay Ebenezer (who was an assistant to composer Harris Jayaraj).“I have always been passionate about the poetic prowess of Tamil. Credit also goes to lyricist Kannadasan sir, who has been a huge inspiration,” says an excited Krish, who considers Thamarai (‘I call her akka’) and Na Muthukumar as his role models.
On how he grabbed this offer, Krish muses, “Vijay is a very close friend. When he first composed a tune and asked me to sing the track, I used some dummy lyrics instead of just humming the tune. The director approved the same!” Well, a singer, a lyricist and an aspiring actor. Way to go,
